Please fill out this form to cancel you membership. To make sure that we cancel the correct member you must be logged in to the site when you fill out the form. When we remove a member we also remove everything written and uploaded by the member to this site. The poems are removed permanently and cannot be recreated.
As a supportive member of PoetBay.com you may publish an unlimited amount of texts. Ordinary members may publish 5 texts per week.
Supportive members may keep an unlimited number of texts in the archive. There is a limit of 50 texts for ordinary members.
There is no limit for supportive members. Ordinary members can only send 5 messages a week.
On the web-page where you login, there is a link where you may order a new password. The password is sent to the email address used for your membership.
All texts published on the PoetBay.com can be read by anyone connected to the internet. The only exception is texts saved in a hidden diary – where you are the only one who can read the texts. Search engines, e.g., Google and Yahoo, regularly index websites. This means that your texts can be found on the search engines indefinitely.
We screen all pictures before they are used to protect against copyright infringements. It may therefore take up to 24 hours before the picture appears on the website.
To become a supportive member, you pay the membership fee to PoetBay.com. If you pay directly through the site your membership is immediately activated.
No, all texts and pictures will still be here.
You may publish an unlimited number of texts and send an unlimited amount of messages. Supportive members also have additional functions available to them, e.g., may publish pictures in the gallery etc. In addition, you will be a contributing factor in keeping the PoetBay.com on the internet and help pay for the cost of internet access.
Accounts are automatically deleted if the account has been inactive during the past year. When an account is deleted, all texts and messages are lost and cannot be recreated.
All information about members are kept and processed digitally. We will never pass the details of your account to anyone outside of PoetBay.
You decide if you want to make your email address public or to keep it private. To make the email public you have to change the settings on the options page that you reach from “my page”.
Please report any offensive texts and messages using this form. Any offensive texts, comments, messages and pictures published by other members should be reported. Every reported text will be examined immediately and judged on whether it violates the terms agreed to by all members.
Report any plagiarism using this form. It is not permitted to copy texts or pictures from other members. We will swiftly deal with plagiarism.
