Etchings of Madness
Inside the quiet room unseen entities speak
Whispering silent noises heard only by the weak.
Dirges of desperation play upon the ailing mind.
Howls of horrid thoughts reach decibels unkind.
Watch the lonely vessel bang the screeching skull
While spirits of the ages castigate and cull.
Demonic incantations raise the dead to walk.
Ghosts of Hell's dominion scurry and talk
Of mystery and magic cast upon the earth.
Inside the quiet room, Damnation's given birth.
Souls of insanity scratch etchings upon the wall.
Hear their pleas for mercy in vacant tainted halls.
Garrison of satanic soldiers march the beat of death.
Gasping, rasping sounds suck the madman's breath.
Wake from this nightmare chilled with acrid sweat.
See the etching on the wall; your name in blood is wet.
