these feelings rose up inside me after reading Nepenthes' poem, "when the red god rose." Thank you Rob for the journey.

Inspired!

Blessings come in the reading of words that transport
To places not seen with eyes
But with open minds--intensely free

Such things as sparkling summery, firefly nights
And glittering pieces of heaven falling on wintery days
Create exploding thoughts, jumping into rainbows,
Causing streams of color to permeate
The dullness of closed and deadened hearts.

Poetry,
Rain on me
Wash me
Cleanse me
Inspire me

Saturate me in imagery beyond all limits
Until the unity of senses
Become a roaring blast
Of pure joy!
