the flame in your eyes

i begged to touch your face,
to stare into your ever lucid eyes
i begged to touch your lips,
i begged for your hand
for to lead you through life's depths

beneath your breasts lies the drum beat
of an ancient barbaric tribal people
they beat the drum, playing the rhythms of savagery
i hear its call, your heart calling out to my primal instincts

bone grinds against some metallic material
as if a prehistoric people
are creating weapons
from the bones of their fallen brethren,
preparing for battle

when the last strikes of the battle are done,
and the bloody end is found,
they shall sing their songs of glory
and they shall dance their victory dance
around the flame in your eyes
