Cuckoo Star


Cuckoo eggs laid in the readers mind
Hatching fantasies to dark reality is blind,
Dreams of quests so daring and bold
with slayings of dragons and rivers of gold.

All thanks to writers
Their books are the star,
For without leaving home
Their words take us so far.
