Two at it at night

Two souls at night
by the bed

Miles Davis and his horn

she is sleeping
had a long day

I am up
enjoying the calamity

on the long play

She is beautiful
by the bed
soft like the pillow
she rests her head
at

and the jazz plays

what if I would try
to wake her

let her hear the sound of that

She would nod
and sleep on further

and that is the night

I'm am up on

with, at. At last

to let her sleep

while I spend my night

and time

listening to jazz

At least, she is there. You'll both be awake at once at some point. Nicely written poem.

That sounds pleasant and you seem happy. Miles Davies and his horn are also very good company. :)
