Or you may call it life
We move in time
Or may be the time moves
We know we live
Or that we are living
Because we are breathing
And each cell in our body
Is alive
Going on doing its job
Not waiting for any instructions
Or philosophy
The humdrum of embedded coding
Is reason enough for fulfilling work
If the body be with you
What else is that we seek or why
The conditioning is important here
The society and the civilization
So much that we have created
With our mind and hands
Pulls us in to forge ahead
On to the path of progress
Driven by our mind
And forgetting our bodies
We are reminded of them
When the body desires
Or just responds to desire
Or may be just chooses to respond
To desire
Leaving the mind out of business
Coming out of this duality
Of mind and body
The art of living
Balances the two
And informs us that
That there are no losers in life.
Life is not a sport
You play with an opponent
Or a battle that you wage
With an enemy.
Life is not about winning or losing
Or about winners and losers.
We are the winners here.
Let's make it simple
For us
Other fellow human beings
Might not validate us
The conditioning of childhood has to go
For we are big now
Responsible for us
With control over our choices
And with our mind and body
At the disposal of our spirit
There is no reward for living
Life is reward for life
For death is neither a reward or a punishment
As life is- death is
I might say I crave and that I throb
That bubble of desire
Let it be
It reminds me of my human ness
My vulnerabilities forbear
The life I carry within.
