A Sonnet

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star shining through,
From day's faraway thoughts we can't foretell;
We only get some wishes to preview,
For we in ordinary spend our days and dwell.
Each our wish is a drop in the ocean deep,
Assorted in fulfillments that come and go;
With plain purpose like in the fairy-tale asleep,
To keep the spirit of the dream world aglow.
Within us are those days of thousand years,
Like tranquil blossoms sweetest airy sounds;
With everything the best of this world cheers,
And together to the future it expounds.
So glow my star to days ahead in time,
For there are reasons to every poems rime.
