The Old Man and the Sea

I was looking at the sea
When I turned around
An old man, I saw
Smiling at me
What was he thinking?
Perhaps he knew
Far far land that I was from
A thousand miles away
His house was nearby the sea
The big and beautiful sea
His eyes tell he knew the sea
He knew the secret of the sea
When the strong winds blew
When the sea was rising
He was always there
Waking up night after night
With his wife and children
It was all there in his eyes
As if he was warning me
Not to be allured by its beauty
It can do things
It can cause a havoc
It can wreck a ship
It can kill people
It can destroy lives
