The winds we have today remind me of this poem I wrote a few years ago.

Autumn Jinn

The push and shove of the bully wind
Pulls at my scarf and jostles my hair
It's Fall after all so what's to mind
As I make my way round a corner where
It hides like a rambunctious wunderkind
My coat and hat fluffed in buffeting air
My dignity lost to this pugnacious Jinn
With his raucous laugh and pneumatic flair
I gather up my pride and grin
Small chance of besting him in his lair
When winter snows which he portends
Bless my day... We'll again be friends

Bravo, Joe! I love "pneumatic flair," among many other fine lines, and the hint of what's to come. I'm feeling it, too.
