to the physical
it revealed the naked horrors
of capitalism & historicism

idealism at its worst
is just absurd
materialism at its best
is dangerous

we all have to live
with the consequences
of someone else's social constructions
& postmodernist humour

deconstructs the ontological terms
describing reality
the 'subjective' experience has been named
'talking to the dead'
the 'objective' experience
(The View from Nowhere)
will be described
in folk-psychological or philosophical
communal concepts

the ontological status
of the experience
is bracketed for now
& passed over in silence

not because we cannot speak of it
but because there is too much
waiting to be said
