Not sure if this is a poem. It might be something more important: a note of gratitude.

Repairing the World

So healing,

the sound of Hebrew

sung in Aviva's voice.

Kol dodi dofek, pitchi li

This music repairs

the havoc caused

by a million small indignities

and by the blessedly few

major affronts.

I am listening

in the suburbs of Boston

at three in the morning

thanks to the magic

of Bandcamp

and I am grateful.

No, let me rephrase:

I am celebrating.

Quietly,

inwardly,

but celebrating nevertheless!

It sounds like a poem to me.
