Ok, the update is completed.  A few thousand orphaned pictures were deleted (around 250 MB), so it was a good clean up.

Should any of your content with a picture be missing, please let us know as we can recuperate any picture that might have been deleted by mistake, 'cause we made backups before deleting them just in case there's an issue.

Hi everyone,

Simply to let you know that we are currently doing maintenance work on the database to remove orphaned pictures that have accumulated over the years.  While working in the code last week, we noticed to our great surprise that the deletion of pictures was not actually in the code (!), so although a text, a book, an exhibition may no longer exist, the picture is still stored in our database.

Removing these orphaned pictures will remove any unnecessary stored data and diminish the size of our database.

We made our best effort for our script to remove only orphaned pictures, but should any of your content with a picture be missing after the update, please let us know. 

We'll be proceeding with this update in a few hours today.
