beyond the skyline, below the waterline

I have seen a poor romanichel begging with "Help" written
on a cardboard

when the clinic can't do more, there is the charity
when one is not useful for the society, one must survive with the charity of others or steal and the believers know it's a sin...

but the charity from whom?
the church....the houses of God, the believers

one trick pony The PoetBay support member heart!
Both your poems today are about wealth (and the lack of wealth) and society, and social conscience (or lack of social conscience).

I like the way you are objective, at the same time empathetic toward those whom need help, and are passed by on the street.

We when lose our sense of community, we lose the easy solutions to social problems and well-being. It isn't for lack of caring necessarily, but the vastness of the problems.

As for the wealth divide, it's only going to get worse, it seems. At some point something has to change.

Thank you, these poems are meaningful,
jim
