Firstly can I thank all for your kind comments on my recent poems at this time, it means a lot to me, as for this latest one, I wrote it after seeing Charlotte lay in bed with tubes and wires keeping her alive,

Eyes Holding Fear

Well the time is finally here
And I must be moving on
My life was saved once or twice
But this time it’s all but gone

As my angel fights for her life
In a place away from here
I need to hold her hand
As her eyes are holding fear

So I’ll go first my precious one
And save a place just for you
With your door to lean on
But this one will have space for two

As I’ll be standing with you
Waiting for your mum
Then we’ll see her slowly appear
Through the dazzling light of the sun

This is so heart wrenching and must have been so hard to write. All I can do is give you my best wishes and deepest sympathy.

Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh. What a magnificent and brave sharing. For in these words can be seen the very core of love; the very core of someone's heart being expended beyond the physical. Here we see the tragedy of life and love in it's raw reality. I feel as though I must do something to alleviate the pain and suffering, Peter, and all I can do is send you my brotherly love and blessings, which I do freely and with all sincerity. Allen
