Sameen
This is compact and cosmic. The wordplay on "Ima" as both a name and a nod to immanence is clever, and the image of a star's core as a place where light and presence meet gives it a nice mystical charge. But it's so short that it feels more like a fragment of a larger thought than a complete poem. The title does some heavy lifting, maybe too much, and the reader is left reaching for a thread to hold. One more line, or even a slight expansion of the star image, would let this breathe. Still, the language is striking.
