This is clean and vivid. "Viridian splendor" is a lovely phrase, and the poem gives summer a rich, almost sacred glow. But it's so brief that it reads more like a postcard than a full experience. There's no movement or tension in the scene, nothing to make the valley feel alive beyond its colors. A single unexpected detail, a shadow, a bird, a dry creek, would add depth without losing the simplicity.
