HOME SWEET HOME BY ANN WOOD

It's best in one's father's house, where everything smells of a home and family.
Tonight I'm going back to my hometown, and to my father's house.
We are filled with nostalgia and sadness, the house will be empty, there will be no one to meet me and hug me to welcome me.
But there's nothing better than coming home, even to an empty house.

It must be a bittersweet feeling for you, going home to an empty house. I hope the experience fills your heart with fond memories.

The last line is so true Ann The memories are still there I like to think that the walls of a house still contain all the laughter and emotion of its inhabitants Nice work.
