feet wet from the evening dew
speaking softly with wind in their hair
throwing it around
not knowing what to do
they knew it was wrong
this love they shared
but they didn't care
they couldn't give in and give up
their hearts wouldn't allow it
so here they were
sneaking out and staying quiet
holding each other
longing for so much more
with only stars above them, they were free
unrestrained and boundless
they only time they could be happy
they dreamt of the future
that long awaited day
they would leave this all behind
and finally runaway
