A ode to the power of imagination
Your body could be imprisoned
by wickedness or
physical weakness.
Your belongings could be
ravished or your home
could be struck
down.
You could suffer from the hands
of evil ones.
Who could inflict terrible wounds.
You could be devasted by poverty and
not have much to call your own.
You could be alone because of destruction
and chaos could rule your life.
Everything you value could be taken from
you and the freedom to choose how you
want to live your life could be withheld.
Imagination is the freedom of your mind.
That can not be reached or torn
away by anyone.
The recesses of your mind can
transcend all turmoil.
It is a treasure that is not
equal to any tangible riches.
Imagination is the power for
you to become more than what
you are now.
