Journey In

Awoken on the outer rim,
The warmth and security within.
Snatched away in my delirium,
Now I struggle to go within.

My mind is ill at ease with my quest,
For in this home I cannot rest,
The longing of my soul proclaim,
This world will bring you nothing but pain.

To free this burden my purpose true,
To fail my soul will dearly rue.
Constant battle the two within,
The one I feed, the one to win.

Many times this rim I've trod,
Countless ages finding God.
Now the world in peril flails
Souls cry out their longing wails.

Seek the seeker, never end,
For he has come your soul to mend.
The gate is open, look through the eye,
The wondrous realms within the sky.

Unfurl the banner, the battle begins,
For the foe who pulls these puppet strings.
The light I see shine bright within,
Gently fade the outer rim.....

Your writings inspire me to think on many levels- they are complex and thought provoking- I read this twice and would want to read it again, so I am saving it in my bookmarks to savour it at leisure...

(((Hugs for joining the bay)))
Welcome again dear Fazer! or shall I call you Craig?
Love, Zoya
