I wrote this awhile ago and have it posted on a similiar site, just wanna know what ppl around here think of it.
without the light of your eyes,
reminding me,
I am more than this swelling darkness,
and all that defiles me?
Silently I praise,
this distance I maintain,
between myself,
and every living thing.
When will I find,
that place we shared,
and lay beside a promise of forever,
that place where,
I was beautiful in your eyes?
If I might have been stronger,
maybe I could have met you there,
at that point where,
I need no reminders.
And inspite of all the weak parts of me,
these words would be spoken,
whispered in a hushed melody,
where would we be if,
you could hear,
the song my heart calls love.
