This is my first poem in quite a while. It feels good to be back here at the Bay.


For Yourself


Trying to impress,

Afraid of doing things the wrong way,

Afraid that people will not love me,

Look at me as a looser.

Therefore not like me,



Been in this state of mind,

The constant pressure,

Not knowing,

Not knowing that it is pointless,



Don't have to win to be liked,

Don't have to win to get recognized,

All this time,

Winning for others,



Time to get to reality,

It's time to win for me,

If people don't love me cause I lost,

Then I don't want to be loved by them,


Remember,

Don't always win for others,

They will still love you,

Win for yourself,

Win for the sake of your efforts,

You deserve it..
