A poem for environmentalists.

A Robin's Melody

Thank you for the smog
That burns my lungs
Thank you for the power lines
Now that the trees are gone
I can sit here and watch you humans
Destroy my world.
Thank you for the noise of your cars
and machinery
That obscures my song.
Yes, I still sing.
I still sing.

This is the song that I sing.
