#12 Apology Poem.

Good Enough

I'm sorry
World

That I never
married that guy

That I never
had those children

That I never
got that high-paying job

I'm sorry
World

That I never
became famous

That I never
ran for president

That I never
played in the major leagues

Who am I kidding?

I'm not on drugs
I'm not living on the streets
I'm not in jail

What more do you want?

World.

Sometimes I ask the same question just like you..."What more do you want? world"....suddenly I realized to be contented is good enough...thank you for sharing...kisses

Elle The PoetBay support member heart!
Well we can't all run the world, so I guess we should be content with what we do achieve - in the long run, if we're happy, thats what matters - enjoyed this Anne
