The Enemy

From the jungles of Malaysia
To the deserts of Iran
The world now fights an enemy
For which it has no plan
For years we feared invasion
Though in truth with little case
For the enemy was always here
Not out there in outer space
We started off with Eden
What improvements did we make?
There was an unknown world out there
So we filled it full of hate
We stained the Earth with crimson red
Filled the valleys full of tears
Turned the fertile into barren
With our wars that last for years
Yes the world now fights an enemy
With a self destructive plan
As we march towards extinction
For that enemy is Man
