You Can't Win 'em All

Though simple truths
Are not always clear
We can react with love
And not with fear

Sometimes there are fights
You cannot win
But right and wrong
Come from within

If you were honest and true
Right from the start
You can sleep in peace
Pure of heart

No-one else can know better
The person you are
Let your soul be your guide
Your own brightest star

Well put. I don't see how certain scumbags seem to be able to ignore this simple truth.

This reminds me that we can never bullshit ourselves because we are our conscience - well expressed :-)
