my first attempt at a sonnet please give me your thoughts...oh and by the way i know its not got the right number of syllables and isnt iambic pentameter but hey poetry is what you make it


Flower/love-sonnet

My love for you is like a delicate flower
It must be nurtured and cared for
And it changes evreyday on the hour
My heart wrenches when you reach for the door
Because i know that my rays of sun have gone
And i must survive without you for a while
But the life of this flower must go on
And then you return to me with your perfect smile
When we are together loves flower blooms
It blossoms in your sun til it is perfect
But this sound in my head like a thousand looms
This repetitive noise that says you cant be kept
The seeds of doubt have being planted in my mind
By another of women kind
