End is nigh.

You walk with a stranger
That can never be outrun.
You walk with chains
That can never be undone.

You walk with fire
That can never fade.
You walk with those eyes
That can never look away.

You walk with a full moon
That can never give light.
You walk with a broken bird
That can never give flight.

You walk with the wind
That can never be heard.
You walk with a poet
That can never give a word.

You walk with your ghost
That can never be seen.
You walk with a stain
That can never be clean.

You walk with cancer.
As it bleeds,
As it bleeds.
