IN TO THE MIRROR I LOOKDE

In to the mirror I looked

I gazed long and hard

THE face looking back at me

As long , as hard as I was looking

At THAT face

On THAT face I could see many lines

On those lines was written many story's

Some were not pretty , even ugly

It must be said

Also written were story's of beauty and loveliness

And all the in betweenes of life grate tapestry's of life

The ears kind of long , resembling a statue on Easter Island

Ears and eyes that had seen and listened to it all just about

THAT face old oh so old before it's time , born as so

That face had not really ever been young seemed to passed THAT face

Bye some how

I turned the light off , turned and walked a way ,That face came with me

Some people prefer old, bang-up stuff to things which are new and shiny because the banged-up stuff has character.

Very beautiful, Ken. A face can indeed be as revealing as a poem.
