Nothing in my heart


The world has turned so loud
I have lost my very own sound
Not a moment of silence anywhere
Not a moment of calm and peace

Everywhere I look
I see a sea of crowds
Screaming, murmuring
Whispering

Everywhere there are words
That make no sense
Words, that can't answer any quest
Words, that can't quieten any doubt

I am thrown in the winds each day
Winds of opinions and ideas
There is no sense of right or wrong
I am just floating

This is what's happened to me
I am bewildered and lost
And the only silence I can find is in my heart
B'cause there's nothing in there
