THE WIND THAT BLOWS

The wind that blows

As like sound effects

For a black and white

Power off for the night

Batteries charged

On the radio

A Gothic ghost radio play plays

Night dark and rather scary

The wind should be out side

BUT , it sounds as if it's inside

The house creeks

All the time the wind blew

Howling in it's might , it's power

Foot steps sound UP STAIRS

Too and through they seemed to walk

The a footfall upon the first step of the stairs

Down , down the steps came , one at a time the foot steps came

Then , as they appeared to stop

THEN THE POWER CAM BACK!

The telly came back on , and I wet me pants!

I don't often laugh out loud at the end of a poem, but I did this time. You got me. Well done : )

The read starts with an eerie feeling, very well done. Only to finish with a start and an understandable but humorous end. Good use of words.
