SO SORRY BABY

I'm so sorry baby
So, so sorry my baby
Am I more than just another
Sometimes your stand-in lover
Scantly undercover lover

Did the laundry with my crying
Told my disposition you were lying
I knew better than to believe
But for years my past lovers deceived
Now you're here too good to be true

Fairy tales told weren't set in stone
At your altar this bride stands alone
Separated from my shadow a spirit roams

I'm so sorry baby
So, so sorry my baby
Childless I can't become a mother
Would this beckon a new lover
Twenty one fresh milk lover

All my pastries were made from scratch
Baby did you tell her you were attached
I knew better than to believe
But for years my past lovers deceived
Now that you're here too good to be true

Fairy tales told weren't set in stone
At your altar this bride stands alone
Separated from my shadow a spirit roams

Sorry
So sorry babe
If sorry ain't sorry
And sorry, so sorry
Then sorry I'll stay
Sorry

Ivan R
An apology written to one self,
this poems does roam and roar with feeling

the " Sorry, so sorry" is sad to read, 'cause the reader wonders what is happening within the poet,

" At your altar this bride stands alone
Separated from my shadow a spirit roams "

says so much, as does the entire poem. Great read. harsh words roaring there.
