Since it seems impossible to enact gun control, I suggest we enact ammunition control. Thanks, Uncle Ikey for bringing up an important subject.

I sincerely hope you do get gun controls and soon - but I think you have a mindset that needs to rethink their attitude towards guns - only a thought but isn't it people who kill by using means that enable killing to be quicker and easier and more 100 times more devastating :-)
