LOOKING

Looking , maybe it's best not to know
Just what you are not looking for
As should you know just what you are looking
For
As should you find what ever it is you are looking for
May be a big disappointment , a proper let down

So maybe , just take life as it comes
You just can not say , just what surprises , lays in wait
By the next step you take

I'll have to agree with you. Life seems to have come to me as a surprise most of the time. All the plans I made when I was young, didn't turn out as I expected, so let the surprises come.
