Love Is What Christmas Is For

Love is what Christmas is for
Love is what Christmas is for
No matter where you come from
or who you are
I just want you to know
Love is what Christmas is for

There is too many bombs falling
There are too many bullets flying
All around the world
There is too much suffering
and way too many people
are dying
and I just want to tell the people
near and far
Love is what Christmas is for

Yes, it should be more than just about shopping and it would be great if the season regained its original meaning, which you so nicely describe.
