Day out in the rainy day by Ann Wood
It is rainy day. I stay in my room and watching the rain from my French window. In the garden, few birds singing their love song. My phone rings, it is my friend who calls me, to ask me, if I want to go out with her to nears town. I tell her it is raining at the moment, but if she wants we can go out with my car to next town. She say to go and meet her in her house in one hour. I am getting ready for our journey. Make some sandwiches, thermos with coffee, water, juice and some fruits for our lunch. I bring cake and home made cookies too. I put everything in my car and dressed up with a new dress. After I check everything and lock my house, I get in my car and go to my friend house. My dog is coming too. When I reach her house, she was already ready and waiting for me in her garden. She also was prepared some food for our day out. We put her dog in back sit, next to mine dog and we start traveling. I play some music and we were having our chat. After we travel for a bit, we stop for break and have some breakfast and cup of coffee. The dogs were wanted to go for walk, and we go for short walk in the forest. It was stop raining and sun getting up. We walking with dogs running around us, we were chatting about what we will do this afternoon. We stop to make some pictures, I take out my camera and start taking pictures, and dogs can play. After we finish with our activities we start walk back to our car, and continued our journey. Once we get in the car I put some music on and we start chatting again and enjoying our journey. We past lovely country side with beautiful view, trees and flowers. It is start again raining, but still sunny. Our journey is nice and enjoyable. Few miles we decided to stop again, to do some more pictures and watching the horse family near by. The rain was stop and birds' song comes from the forest. Once we finish our photos session, we start walking back to our car, and start our journey again. After in an hour we reach the town and park the car in the shopping centre car park. We go for shopping and to the cinema. Before that we left our dogs in dogs' hotel where they can have some fun with other dogs. After the cinema we go for more shopping and some lunch in nears French eatery. After we finish our lovely lunch and Victorian cake with vanilla ice cream, we decided to go and visit the historical museum and the castle, it was very beautiful there. When we finish our visit there we go to collect our dogs from dogs' hotel and back to our card and start our journey back home. In few miles we stop for short break and walk in the forest. I did few more pictures with my camera and show them to my friend. Before start rain again we back to the car and start our journey again. We were chatting and listening music from the radio. We were talking about the movie we were watching early this afternoon. Dogs were so tired and fast asleep. We get at home late that evening. My friend asks me if she can stay over night with me. I was happy that I will have some company for dinner. We order some pizzas and salad from nears Italian eatery down the road. I make two cocktails and we sit on the sofa to waiting our dinner to come. Once our dinner comes we eat it and have nice pudding after that. When we finish our meal we clean the table and get glass of wine and go back to the lounge to watching a movie on the TV. After that we play one game of monopoly. At 12 o'clock we go to get ready for bed. Once we get in bed we have some chat about our day out. It was such a nice day out, that we both will remember it. We both enjoyed our journey to near town today. Next morning after we have our breakfast we get ready for work in the garden. Dogs were running around and watching us. At lunch time we cook some paellas and salad, for dessert we were have fruit salad with vanilla ice cream. After lunch we play some games and swimming in my pool. At 5pm my friend calls for taxi and go home. It was nice weekend together that I never forget.Short story by Ann Wood
