Like Light The Day

Light leaks out of the day like gas from a sad deflated balloon
A shadow in side profile eternally turning away from
Some other entity smiles mirroring raindrop gray,

Words were just something to say suppose
Said in a place of this touching repose
And goes away,

Again, recalling the lines of ghost chains smoke ring dream games falling
Slow into realms of ethereally glowing snow
Only to play,

Balloon deflated
From a gas
