Stars & Sand

Time runs down
Clock winds out
Light turns dark
Sparks die, lightning flashes
Breaths sigh, ashes to ashes,

Stars and sand
Burn your hand

Opens close upon the tide
Rises over all surrounding
Hills that sway in the wind
Promises all rescind
In a background floundering
Find yourself again beside

Yourself just in Time
Runs down
Clock winds
Out
Light/dark
Sparks
Die
Lightning flashes
Breaths sigh
Ashes to ashes
