Where a rose and her knight meet in the soft rolling hills of Southern Indiana when spring brings the purest beauty and love to a place called Brown County. --A Villanelle one of my favorite forms of poetry.

Magnolia Springtime cowritten with Lastromantichero

Hand in hand through Magnolia Springtime
Warm gentle breeze on a beech lined avenue
Brown County vacations relaxing with you

Sweet scents of hyacinths perfume the air
Strolling through the park perfectly sublime
Hand in hand through Magnolia Springtime

Listening at dawn to the cardinals singing
Serenading our love the way that they do
Brown County vacations relaxing with you

Sunny afternoons lazy and free
Swinging on the porch while clematis climb
Hand in hand through Magnolia Springtime

And evening walks by the river at sundown
The beauty and peace, lovely things that we view
Brown County vacations relaxing with you

This gentle love song we held in our hearts
At last sings as our dreams have come true
Hand in hand through Magnolia Springtime
Brown County vacations relaxing with you

This reminds me of the deep South and yes it also reminds me of Sentimental Journey. You did well Kathy.
