A Lovely Summer Day
I know that everything is fine. I know itIn my mind, as if a parent with a pointed
Finger came to me and told me so.
I see a sky with dumpling clouds.
I've felt the summer's humid heat.
The pool is just beyond my window,
Cool and clean, and, at this point,
I haven't too much more to do.
There's nothing wrong. The world's
Right, so why have I withdrawn
Inside to sit, immobile, feeling that
My mind, my parent, is mistaken?
Everything's not fine.
