Once you flashed through leaf shadows like a kingfisher knight
Worlds were whirled in keen moments of slanting tilt
Everything a whirl your whirligig girl light as a smile
Was stranger than beauty thought much more than anyone might,.
Guess the words are never enough too much to expect a change of plan
So strange the Windows stained like glass the movie pass, you were such a fan,
Tripping on her script the lilting jilt the tilt and tumble role rehearsed
The screens reversed the heart mine undermining
So close the page the classic rage the mirror go round to desire the actress more than her role,
The Age of Sound.
