Little Has Changed
I'm to go about my business, lose myselfIn mundane duties. I've been told I needn't
Fear. The monster's gone. They took
It out. It's been a month since it attacked...
But they put in another beast, and this one's
Wholly in control, so it can kill me several
Ways. "It's not a monster," they assure me.
"It's a proven, docile thing. You won't be
Harmed. You'll be just fine." I say those
Same words to myself as I go on about my
Business. Still, the terror stays.
