I don't know,
What made me think,
Of this song,
Raindrops on roses,
And whiskers on kittens.
But it popped,
In my mind.
When I saw,
The raindrops,
On these leaves of green,
Looking towards me.
It brightened my day,
With this beautiful song,
And I sang it,
As I walked away.
Into this gray,
And rainy day.
My heart opened,
Was filled with joy,
By the rain of the day,
On the leaves of green,
Oh thank you,
For natures joy.
