WHILE WALKING WITH MY CHUM DAVID! (A SNAPSHOT WORK)

Now David and me - been chums for getting on for forty years!
Only now David understands me! That I can strike up a conversation, with some I have just met! Talk with them as like we had known each other for years! Strange but true!
The other week, me and David were walking side across Canterbury, one side to the other side. As we were walking I saw a woman, not close to us, but in plain view. Having cigarette break, I call out: '' How's it going love?''. Now in U K, English using the word ''love'', is not to be confused with being familiar with a woman, kind of is similar to the use '' mate'', '' hows it going mate? Bracks down barriers. That is not - flirting!
The woman smiled, took a drag on her cigaret, smiled back. Me and David did not break our step, carryd on to our destination. Smiles put on to someone who's day suddenly not so bad!
