No illusions
I am not idealizing you.
How could I, when I do not even know you?
All I do know is that I sincerely feel you
warmly as much more than just a friend,
not just a colleague but a spiritual associate
that has survived her own annihilation and herself
as I myself have risen from the gutter.
Let's have no illusions and no expectations
taking nothing and no possibility for granted,
while we always can have dreams in common.
Let us dwell together in a dream then
and idealize and embellish it with all our power
hoping never to wake up from it
and living for the dream of turning it into reality.
