As I Kneel
I propose to keep you close to me,As my life is unbearable whenever
You are far away, and
I propose to coddle you as if you
Are an invalid because you mean
So much to me, and
I propose that we grow old together
To protect each other from the world's
Slashing claws, and
I propose, above all else.
To always call you “wife.”
