Superfluous

The worst part is, it's not about you.
In fact, you're insignificant. Her silence
Is not a sign of disdain, a subtle suggestion
That you should move on, it only shows
That you're out of her mind as she wrestles
With various things that are not, and
The desperate gesture that you
Contemplate will not cause her
To run back in sorrow to you. It will
Simply confuse her. She'll shake
Her head, and return to whatever
She actually values. Sadly, that group
Excludes you.
