ITS A SIN! (A Work In Progres)

It's a sine to delete - throw away - burn a poem - scrap a prose!
The work were you at the time of thinking then!
That work were you starting out back then!
Now you have reached the now - then were then now is now!
Your life were oh so diffarant way back then!
Now oh so diffarant from what is now!
Reader your works from way back then - read what you now write!
Smile at what you were back then - uncurl crunch your toes and smile!
Write on and on - never forgetting the way you were - cos has you were!
Helped you to be as you are in the now - that will take you forward!
You are you - you - will always - ALWAYS - BE YOU!

I deeply value this encouragement! It echoes advice I gave to someone just this past Saturday. We should be patient toward the flaws of our old writing, and remember (happily) the circumstances that led us to write what we did in the first place!

Excellent advice, Ken. So true.
