I've Demeaned You
Oh, arrogant me! You've a right to be crabby. How I've coercedYou with righteous coherence, leading you, steer-like, down
My narrow chute to a single conclusion which I alone chose.
You're no steer. I've demeaned you, but, henceforth, I won't.
I'll write words which lead nowhere, snippets of nonsense,
Respecting your judgment. You'll chose the goal, and the means
To attain it. We'll work hand in hand. In fact, I will be idle,
Tossing out pieces, kits, you could say, with which you may
Make poems of your own.
